Abstract
The book “Beginnings of 2004” is a story of
identity, and it is a family biography about a lost identity
between (Havana, Lebanon, Paris), and (1889 to the
present). In this research, we aim to find out the benefit of
researching identity, based on the aforementioned book.
The result of this research is knowledge of identity, which
is the past, and the desire to understand the present,
affirming the sense of authenticity and belonging, as they
are responsible for the concept of identity that would
confront globalization, which means uprooting the roots
