The Phonetics and Semantics of Repetitions in the poetry of Anwar Salman

Abstract
Repetition is a method that poets use to
increase the impact of the literary text on the reader. This
research tries, through the descriptive-analytical method, to
examine the repetition in the poem of the Lebanese poet
"Anwar Salman", in terms of initial repetition, final
repetition, reduplication of verbs, condensed repetition
necessary repetition, and circular repetition. Indeed
repetition in our poet's poetry plays an important role in
enriching the melodious side of Divan's odes and
emphasizing their meaning in the eyes of the reader.
Through this passage, the poet emphasizes his inner feelings
of extreme sadness and pain due to the bloody events that
happened after the influence of colonialism on his
homeland, or his feelings about his love for his wife and
homeland. "Anwar Salman" has used initial repetition and
condensed repetition more than other types of repetition in
his poetry.
