Authority Of Language In The Critical Discourse Of Mohamed Bennis

Abstract
The issue of language is one of the most important theoretical topics addressed in the critical discourse of Mohammed Bennis. It is a fundamental and central issue in contemporary criticism, whose significance has grown in the context of the preoccupation with modernizing Arabic poetry. This issue has formed a theoretical concern for those engaged with it; from ancient Arabic poetics to the Arab romantics who tried to provide a different perspective on it. In contemporary poetry, the issue has been raised with more attention, detail, and theoretical reflection, through the exploration of its function and its existential dimensions, which is evident in the critical discourse of Mohammed Bennis
