Abstract
Computational Arabic language processing and its applications within the framework of artificial intelligence represent both the current state and future aspirations.
In reality, computational Arabic language processing has witnessed significant advancements, leveraging the progress made in artificial intelligence and natural language processing. Applications such as sentiment analysis, machine translation, text summarization, and intelligent personal assistants have emerged, providing valuable tools for Arabic speakers across various domains.
However, there are challenges that need to be addressed. Dialectal variations, limited resources, and the complexity of Arabic grammar present obstacles to further development. Moreover, ensuring ethical considerations, including privacy and fairness, in AI-driven language processing systems remains a critical concern.
Looking forward, there are promising opportunities for computational Arabic language processing. Through continued investment in research and development, collaboration among stakeholders, and a focus on ethical AI practices, enhanced applications and capabilities can be achieved. From improved language comprehension to innovative solutions in fields such as education, healthcare, and communication, the potential impact of AI-driven Arabic language processing is vast.
