Abstract
Linguistic planning relates to various aspects related to developing a comprehensive linguistic policy, through which various visions and ideas are developed that show the status of the languages used on the arena level. Many thinkers have described (linguistic planning) as aiming to define a future plan to develop the language for use through programs. , legislation, and decisions. This research aims to present a descriptive study of the book: “Linguistic Policy and the Place of the Nation’s Language” by researcher Dr. Saleh Belaid, who is known for his distinguished efforts in this fertile field of knowledge. The book is 463 pages long and was recently published in Algeria during the month of September 2023 AD. It serves as a comprehensive scientific encyclopedia that addresses various issues related to linguistic policy. Where we meet many deep ideas.
