Abstract
Abstract: Talking about identity means talking about the conception of the distinction because the identity is a series of signs and features that represent the entity of the thing or the person discordant from another.According to this concept, it becomes a variable and precarious offer which depends on time, place and the society that intervene to give it a distinctive form. This article aims to clarify the reality of the identity asked by the hero of the novel “Hozih” who, confused and incredulous in his life, suffers because of the persistent search of his past and present and of his feeling full of the social and the personal solitude leads to his sensation of dispersing in identifying his belonging as long as he lives with two names, two countries and two religions . The narrator searches himself within the wandered world around him.The writer uses, in the novel, a selected language that corresponds with the detailed description of the circumstances and the details of life in Philippine as well as Kuwait, the cause of discovering himself
