Abstract
This research aims to reveal the role of the syntactic aspect in shaping meaning, represented by the different forms of a word that convey different connotations. This is achieved through the syntactic functions of the word derived from the structure, the way the word is constructed, and its various formations and positions. Especially when a word interacts with a group of words, it acquires new connotations that add vitality and renewal to the text This is what the research will attempt to uncover through our analysis of a modern poetic text by the Algerian poet Azzedine Mihoubi.
