Abstract
This study deals with Ahmed Ibn Yusuf Al-Jaber's poetry which is considered one of the most prominent faces of poetry in Qatar .this attempt is a brief reading of some of Ibn Al-Jaber’s poetry in which I saw the general features of his poetry, I tried to deal with it in the light of an analytical approachlooking for the places of identity and belonging as they are determined in its construction. Ibn Yusuf Al-Jaber adhered to the vertical poem in all stages of his poetic creativity, he did not try seeking renewal in its forms, rather he tried to keep the traces of the ancients in its structures, words, connotations and symptoms.
